The elections are just a few days away on Tuesday, September 15th--Primary Day.  As many of you may know, I am running for re-election for a second term to the NYC Council, and I do have opposition this year from a democratic opponent.  I need volunteers to open and close polls and to hand out literature on Tuesday from 6:00 am to 9:00 pm at polling sites throughout my district .  Whatever time you can give will be greatly appreciated.  In addition, I ask that you speak to 5-10 of our friends and get them to volunteer.  Please call Donna or Yuvie at (212) 777-2131 or e-mail my campaign at reelectrosie@gmail.com

Also, when you volunteer for me, you can also help the citywide candidates I have endorsed: Bill Thompson for Mayor, Bill deBlasio for Public Advocate, John Liu for Comptroller and Richard Aborn for Manhattan D.A.

If by chance you really can't come to the east side of Manhattan, and you live in Brooklyn or Queens, I've endorsed five (5) candidates for City Council who need volunteers as well. You can get info on all my endorsed candidates by going to www.rosiemendez.com
