Updated, 4:52 p.m. | The waiting list for kindergarten at two of New York City’s most celebrated elementary schools, Public School 41 and Public School 3 in Greenwich Village — which had stirred anger among parents — is no more.
The Department of Education announced on Friday that it had reached a lease agreement with Greenwich House, which will provide classroom space at 27 Barrow Street for pre-kindergarten students in Greenwich Village, next year.
